Starting from January 2020, the new Shelley dining joins the Shelley armchair and lounge little armchair: a seat designed for the dining area that features the same refined design and the same cubic shapes as the project of the same name signed by GamFratesi.‎ In addition to embodying formal elegance and comfort, the dining armchair easily combines compact proportions and a contemporary aesthetic taste, with references to the distinctive features of the Scandinavian style.‎
The height of the seat is increased of 6 cm compared to the lounge little armchair, maintaining the same metal structure in Black-Nickel finish, with front legs inclined and slightly open sideways, in support of a rigid saddle-hide shell slightly flared at the top.‎
Available in a wide range of colours – including the new Ash, Sage, Bordeaux and Dove Grey colours – the shell embraces a soft and comfortable padded seat, enhanced by a careful processing technique and refined tailoring profiles and details.‎
The materiality of the saddle-hide and the plurality of upholsteries for the seat make Shelley dining a particularly versatile and extremely sophisticated furnishing, capable of fitting with measured elegance into any residential and Hospitality context.‎

Distinguished by its elegant formal cubist shape, Shelley sports a linear geometry, enhanced by the presence of saddle hide and its accurate processing technique.‎
Its characteristic alluring saddle hide volume hosts cushions covered in fabric and opens at the front on the sides to reveal the inviting seat, while the rear part accommodates the body in a soft embrace.‎ The saddle hide also serves to bind the legs together, wrapping itself round them and allowing the top part to emerge, ending in a fine decorative detail with Black Nickel finish.‎
The bearing frame reveals interesting shape solutions, such as the sloping front legs, slightly open at the sides or the tightness of the saddle hide at the base of the chair, which gradually loosens in an elegant tapering effect towards the exterior of the top part.‎ Sartorial details, such as neat piping, define the edges of the cushions, with those of the backrest and armrest designed as three separate elements.‎
Shelley comes in two versions: the armchair in classic dimensions and the lounge version, which can be used individually or also together, to create a continuity of shapes in living areas.‎ The saddle hide colour palette welcomes four new shades - Ash, Sage, Bordeaux and Dove Grey - in addition to the current shades Mud, Moka and Black, all perfect for matching with the fabrics of the collection.‎
The compact design concept by GamFratesi, which plays on the harmonious contrasts between a structured external shell and a soft, inviting interior, enhanced by the texture of saddle hide and the fabrics used, has been flawlessly brought to life thanks to the design know-how and sophisticated tailoring techniques that have always been the distinguishing features of Minotti.‎
