The Fidelio console table designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Poltrona Frau catches the eye for the contrast between its remarkable visual lightness and the richness of the material combinations, a balance that makes it ideal for furnishing the contemporary living room.‎
Formal simplicity and refined details are the particular hallmarks of the Fidelio series.‎ In fact, the console table joins the low cabinet, the chest of drawers, the side tables, the lamp and all of the other elements of the collection, notable for functional details which become highly distinctive aesthetic elements.‎

The Fidelio console table is 75 cm high, 135 cm wide and 45 cm deep.‎ The base, in solid ash with a Moka or Wengé stain, supports the two double uprights with characteristic triangular section.‎ The plates for mounting the tops are made from steel and painted matt black.‎ Spacers in brushed steel with a natural brass finish.‎ Self-adhesive felt pads protect the floor.‎ The top surface is in Emperador or Calacatta Gold marble.‎ Both have a polished finish to which a transparent polyester paint is applied to guarantee greater resistance and prevent the absorption of liquids.‎ The Calacatta gold marble can also come with a semi-polished finish, treated with a water-repellent oil with a highly natural appearance.‎ The marble top is completed with a supporting MDF panel with a non-scratch matt black painted finish, and the underneath is strengthened with a technical mesh to guarantee its resistance.‎ On request, the top can also come in birch plywood upholstered with Saddle Extra leather.‎ In this case the underneath is in matching Pelle Frau® leather.‎

It is particularly advisable to attach the version with marble top to the wall to guarantee greater stability and safety.‎ The rear mounting plate is made of matt black painted steel and permits adjustments to a depth of +/- 6mm.‎


A collection of storage units for any room in the home.‎ Low cabinet for the living room.‎ Chest of drawers, tall boy and bedside table for the bedroom.‎ Deliberately lean design, precious materials.‎ Functional details become highly characteristic aesthetic elements, such as the recessed handles that provide interesting graphics on the surfaces.‎ Intense contrast also between the dark, warm hues of Cuoio Saddle Extra leather and the wood covering the outside and the bight explosion of the very pale natural maple used inside the compartments and drawers.‎ Formal minimalism and sophisticated finishes for an across-the-board collection, an easy match for all the Poltrona Frau furnishings yet with its own very defined personality.‎ The low cabinet has a supporting frame in solid ash and birch plywood with moka coloured ash veneer.‎ The system of compartments and drawers creates an alternating balance of empty and solid.‎ The unit stands on a solid ash easel structure emphasising its visual lightness, perfect for living areas.‎The Fidelio bedroom units are more compact, to provide all the storage space needed in this room.‎ The supporting frame is in solid Canaletto walnut and birch plywood with Canaletto walnut veneer.‎ All the pieces in the collection have the outside of the drawers and side panels covered in Cuoio Saddle or Cuoio Saddle Extra leather.‎ On request, the back panel can also be covered in leather, otherwise it comes in moka ash or Canaletto walnut veneer.‎ An even richer impression of solidity is given by the versions with semi-polished Calacatta gold marble top for the bedroom units, plus a polished finished for the low cabinet.‎ Alternatively, top in solid wood with moka coloured ash veneer for the low cabinet or in Canaletto walnut for the bedroom units.‎
